About Betsy Lydle Smith
Betsy Lydle Smith has been a Virtues Project™ Facilitator since 1992 and has conducted Virtues Project workshops and training for schools, organizations, individuals, and families in Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Alaska, Texas, Wisconsin, New York, Canada, and Japan.
As a certificated K-12 teacher, Betsy has over 25 years of experience in education, training, and facilitation. She has taught jr. high and high school in Calif, NY, Germany, and WA State. She is the founder and former executive director of Art Star Association, a non-profit children's arts organization in Bellevue, Washington.
In 2001, she was selected as one of nine trainers in North America to train facilitators for The Virtues Project™ by founder Linda Kavelin Popov. She was part of the Virtues Project™ leadership team for several years.
Betsy has successfully used The Virtues Project
strategies in her own classroom in teaching jr. high and high school students, and with elementary school students. She has seen her students become more responsible, caring, respectful, self-disciplined, and peaceful by using The Virtues Project
strategies.
