What you will learn
Introduction to The Virtues Project™: Awakening the Gifts of Character addresses these issues and more, with five practical strategies based on virtues. Parents find that The Virtues Project™ strategies make family life more peaceful and joyful for everyone!
Children have all of the virtues within, in potential. By seeing the true essence of our children, we can draw forth the virtues or inner qualities our children have, and help them discover and develop their virtues, such as caring, kindness, responsibility, creativity, peacefulness and more. What greater gift can we give them, then recognizing, acknowledging and guiding them to be their best selves.

Virtues training taught me the meaning of the Virtue of Detachment. Instead of a hair-trigger temper, I now experience my feelings, but do not get carried away with angry, shaming reactions. I am able to step back and respond with Gentleness to my teenage son. It has improved our relationship and turned it from oppositional to enjoyable!

My favorite thing about the Virtues Project™ is that it assumes the positive. Speaking and using the Virtues language doesn't work if you cannot do that. So it has been a tremendous tool in assisting me to become a more positive person.

We found it not only helpful but it brought Michael and I closer together in terms of being on the same page with our parenting goals as well as our life together as a couple.
